5.1.8 Salary Codes

Salary Codes are used for adding hours to work orders in Handyman. To be able to add hours to orders in Handyman the salary codes need to be part of a salary code group as well.

To make sure that you get correct data back to the ERP system when importing orders from Handyman, you should export salary codes in phase 1 of an integration implementation. Remember that even if you export all salary codes to Handyman, it is up to the salary code groups settings to decide which salary codes are available for the Mobile users.
If you export the nodes Unit and SumOnTimesheet without any value, the values configured in Handyman Administrator will be set back to default values. If you are not able to export these values from the ERP system, make sure that not all salary codes are exported every time you need to add a new salary code in Handyman.

The document contains new or altered salary codes.

OBS! Functional change from Handyman 6.2.855

HoursType replaces the function that the combination of Unit and SumOnTimesheet has today.
If you dont use HoursType we will convert the settings on the salary code accoring to this table.

Unit  SumOnTimesheet  Description includes Calculated HoursType
 0  0  Any text  4
0  1  Syk, sjuk, syg, sick, krank  3
0  1  Ferie, semester, holiday, vacation, urlaub  2
 0  1  Overt, övert, überstund  1
0  1  Anything else then the above  0

Example:
You export salary code with unit=0, SumOnTimesheet=1, Description=Summer holiday. This will result in HoursType beeing set to 2 in Handyman after import.
